Annual Plan Activities
1) First Parents teacher meeting (PTA) takes place in June.
Our PTA works closely with the school

To ensure close co-operation,

To co-ordinate the efforts of parents and teachers towards the better formation of the student, and build an understanding between home and school.

To create an atmosphere of friendly relationship between the parents and the teachers by contacts between them.

To assist the school authorities by organising educational, cultural and social activities.
2) Pati-Pujan
Our school believes strongly that children should be made aware of our Indian culture and should develop faith in it. Taking a step in keeping with this belief, the students start their anuual studies by offering prayer to Goddess Saraswati ,the deity of intelligence who inspires us to gain victory over the darkness of ignorance.
3)Rain day
Rainy day is always a fun time for the kids if it is celebrated in the school. Moreover it makes the school environment light and mesmerizing for these unadulterated souls.
Instead of confining them to their class rooms, the students are brought in open by their mentors with umbrellas and rain coats to enjoy the playful rainy weather. The kids really have a festivity time with their friends and the mentors.
4)Dindi
In Maharashtra, Ashadi Ekadashi is an auspicious occasion to worship lord Vithoba in Pandharpur. This dindi that showcases the distinctive feature of Maharashtrian culture and helps develop social skills is exhibited in Shrividya.
5)Gurupournima
Guru Purnima is observed every year in India as a day to honour teachers. Importance of Guru is told to students on this day.
6) Nagpanchmi
On the occasion of Nag Panchami ,mehendi is drawn on hands of boys and girls. They all worship Snake god.
7)Independence day
Every year Independence day is celebrated with great enthusiasm . Various cultural programme take place on this day.
8) Raksha Bandhan
Raksha Bandhan is celebrated on the full moon day of the lunar month of Shravana
The central ceremony involves the tying of a Rakhi (sacred thread) by a sister on her brother’s wrist. This symbolizes the sister’s love and prayers for her brother’s well-being, and the brother’s lifelong vow to protect her.
9)Shravani Shukrawar
On every Friday of shravan , children are given Prasad of jaggery and roasted yellow gram.
10) Gopalkala
In order to celebrate the birthday of Lord Krishna, a celebration is organized in school for children. All children come in traditional dresses. Some boys come dressed as ‘Krishna’ and some girls come dressed as ‘Radha’. Beautiful decorations are put up to make this event more cheerful and colorful. Children dance on the tunes of garba. A ‘Matki Phod’ event is also organized to mark the mischievous nature of ‘Bal Gopal’.
11)Ganpati
Ganesha Chaturthi is celebrated as the birthday of Lord Ganesha the symbol of wisdom and remover of obstacles. This festival is also known as Ganesh Utsav which means festival of Ganesh. The school celebrates it for 10 days with lots of Fun and Masti. Daily puja and aarti is done and prasad is offered to every one.
12)Trip
School trip is arranged every month from nursery to senior kg .
13) Fruit day
With an objective to create awareness among children and parents about the importance of consumption of fruits in regular diet the school celebrates fruit day in school.
14) Navratra
School celebrates Navratri with great joy and vigour.It even install Sharda devi for 9 days in school. With an aim to spread joy and happiness the school even organise ‘Bhondla’.
15) Lokmanya tilak
Speech contest take place on this day. The student speak on Lokmanya Tilak.
16)Fancy dress
The purpose of conducting the competition is not only to blend learning with fun but also to develop confidence in the students by giving them an opportunity to get on the stage and speak in front of an audience.
17) Kumarika pujan
Kumarika pujan is celebrated in every navrat A kumarika symbolises Shakti in unmanifest form. Worshipping a kumarika activates the Shakti present in her and helps attract the absolute Fire principle frequencies from the Universe.
18)Diwali
Shrividya celebrates Diwali every year with great fanfare, devotion and excitement.
19)Annual Gathering
Annual day is one of the important days for school On an annual day, schools celebrate their school’s success by gathering together. They share student’s, teacher’s and staff’s achievements for the last year. Generally, this celebration includes cultural programs like dance and singing performance.
20)Shegao Trip
Every year school takes 4th std students for shegao. The trip is arranged for 2 days and 1 night.
21)Library for parents
Libraries are the place to connect with your kids. School has open library for parents to look up at new world , to spark their imagination, to encourage them reading, to develop critical thinking and prepare and support kids and teens in school and life.
22)Interschool Competition
Interschool competition for poetry and drawing is held in the month of February. To know the importance of old Indian games our school takes old games under ’June khel nave gadi’ in feb.
23)26 January
School celebrates Republic day with great enthusiasm. Program starts with national anthem, flag song and the pledge which is followed by sports prize distribution .
24)Makar Sankranti
‘Tilgud ghya ani godh godh bola’.On this note, the children of the Pre-Primary section celebrate the festival of Makar Sankranti. The children are given information on Makar sankranti.
25)Rangapanchmi
Holi is a festival of colours. It is celebrated across the country .Holi signifies victory of good over evil. It is celebrated to welcome the spring season. When it comes to children, we all know that they love to play with colors . We at Shrividya celebrate holi on every year with teachers with natural colors and explain them about the significance of holi festival.
26)Teachers day
Teachers’ Day is celebrated every year in school with great fervour. Student of 4th are given chance to teach students . The day is buzz with excitement and smiles all around.
27) Khelwadi
Nursery students are given CD which includes their overall school activities with their oral exam.
28) Shishuvarg
The oral exam of Jr.kg students is recorded and given to their parents to know their pupil progress.
28) Balvarg
Written exam is conducted for Sr.kg.
29) Vyaharthi homa
It creates a nice atmosphere for the students. It harmonise the atmosphere. It innitiate new activities with a foundation of good energy .This Homa is particularly beneficial to bring balance to the atmosphere.
